Whenever RemoveItMan is called to remove items that are in good condition, they load those items into a separate trailer and donate them to Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County.  Furniture, appliances and more - anything that is in good condition and can be reused.

As is written on their website (www.habitatsuffolk.org):

"Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. In 1987, Mt. Sinai Congregational United Church of Christ made a commitment to the community and a challenge to their fellow congregants to found Habitat for Humanity in Suffolk County. Today, we are building an average of 10 houses a year and in 2006 we expect to build our 100th house in Suffolk county.

In addition to helping to raise funds and volunteering to help build simple, decent, affordable homes for the working poor of Suffolk County, we have opened a ReStore which is open on Wed & Sat to sell various building materials to contractors and homeowners. In the near future we expect to relocate to a new facility and expand this program."
